The Independent Lawyers Network (ILN) has been selected as a delegate organisation for Azerbaijan National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum for the 2026–2028 cycle, joining a regional network of civil society organisations working to promote human rights, rule of law, and democratic accountability across the Eastern Partnership region.

ILN and the World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT) submitted a detailed follow-up report to the UN Committee against Torture concerning Azerbaijan’s implementation of Concluding Observations.

The Independent Lawyers Network (ILN) submitted a detailed 10-page letter of allegation concerning the draft amendments to the Law “On Advocates and Advocacy Activity” in Azerbaijan.

Between January and August 2025, ILN and partner organisations continued active engagement in supporting the implementation of unexecuted ECtHR judgments against Azerbaijan.
