ILN monitors systemic violations within the criminal justice system, including arbitrary detention, politically motivated prosecutions, and fair trial violations. Along with the legal aid, ILN also provides legal analysis to support strategic litigation and international advocacy.

Why It Matters

Abuse of the criminal justice system erodes the rule of law, enables repression, and denies individuals effective legal remedies and fair judicial protection.
